An airport transfer should start before the wheels touch down. Veteran Executive Transportation tracks the flight, puts a screened chauffeur at the right door, and carries the bags to a clean SUV, limousine, or shuttle. Airline passengers at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) use the commercial terminal. Private and charter passengers at the same airport use Atlantic Aviation on Standiford Avenue, which is a different building. Bowman Field, Clark Regional, French Lick Municipal, and the other fields below each have their own lobby, and each has its own page with the street the chauffeur uses. We are a veteran-owned company based at 134 Outer Loop STE 100, Louisville, KY 40214, open Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM, at (502) 835-2838.
Airline arrivals and departures at SDF
Most airport work is a commercial flight at SDF, which sits at the I-65 and I-264 junction a short drive from our base. Send the airline and flight number with the reservation. We watch the inbound, so a delay or an early arrival simply changes the time the chauffeur is waiting for you, not whether a car is there.
Your chauffeur helps with luggage and walks you to the vehicle. Departures are counted backward from the curb, with the Watterson or the Snyder built in if you are starting in the east end or in Southern Indiana. Tell us the hotel entrance or the home address and how many bags are coming, and we will send a vehicle with room for them.
Private and charter flights: the FBO is the address
A private arrival is a different meetup from an airline flight. At SDF, private and charter aircraft use Atlantic Aviation on Standiford Avenue, not the commercial terminal. At Bowman Field, the FBO is Louisville Executive Aviation. Give us the FBO name, the tail number, and the estimated arrival, and the chauffeur waits at the right building.
We meet passengers in the FBO lobby unless that FBO allows the car planeside. Where it is permitted, the vehicle can come to the aircraft so bags go straight from the hold to the trunk. The FBO decides, and we follow its rules on the day. Each page below lists what we verified about that field.
Regional airports in Kentucky and Southern Indiana
Not every flight lands in Louisville. We meet aircraft at the regional fields we have checked against current airport and FBO listings, from Clark Regional across the river to French Lick Municipal for the resort, Madison and Huntingburg in Indiana, and Samuels Field in Bardstown, Capital City Airport in Frankfort, and Signature Aviation at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington in Kentucky. Some are staffed FBO lobbies, and some are small public-use fields with no branded lobby at all. The page for each one says which.
If your airport is not listed, call and ask. We will tell you plainly whether we cover it rather than guess at a door we have not confirmed.
Choosing the vehicle for the flight
A luxury SUV carries up to six passengers with room for luggage and is the usual choice for an executive, a couple, or a family. A stretch limousine suits a celebration arrival or a wedding party flying in together. For a team, a band, or a group of guests landing on the same flight, a 14-passenger shuttle keeps everyone and their bags in one vehicle, and the 30-passenger long white party bus is there when the headcount is real. Wi-Fi is available on board.
Our executive van is a separate service for groups that want a van rather than a shuttle, with its own page. Tell us the headcount and the bag count, and we will recommend the vehicle that fits.
From the airport to wherever the trip is going
From SDF or an FBO we drive to downtown hotels, NuLu, Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Exposition Center, the KFC Yum! Center, a client office, or a family home. Derby week, Bourbon Trail weekends, and convention days fill fast, so book early when your trip lands on one of them.
Golfers flying in for a round can go straight from the aircraft to the course with the clubs in the back. Relatives traveling in for a wedding or a funeral are met and taken to the hotel, the venue, or the service. Corporate travelers can keep a car and chauffeur for the day, with the car waiting between meetings.
The person at the curb
Every chauffeur passes a criminal background check, a driving-record review, and drug testing, and completes defensive-driving training. They wear black polos for airport work and suits for weddings and funerals. They work under a nondisclosure agreement, which matters to executives and public figures who take calls in the back seat.
The chauffeur has seen the reservation before the flight lands: the name, the flight, the bags, and the address you are going to. That is the difference between a ride and a transfer.
How to book an airport transfer
Send the date, the airline and flight number or the FBO and tail number, the passenger count, the bag count, and the address you are going to. Planned trips get a written quote through the quote form. For a pickup today or tomorrow, call (502) 835-2838 during office hours, Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM, so we can check which chauffeurs and vehicles are free.
Once you accept the written quote, a non-refundable deposit holds the date. The amount depends on the vehicle and the day, and the balance is due the day of the trip. Cancellations more than 72 hours out receive a credit toward a future booking. Inside 72 hours, the deposit is forfeited.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you track flights for late arrivals?
Yes. Send the flight number or tail number with the reservation and we watch the arrival. If the flight is late or early, the chauffeur adjusts the pickup time.
Do you serve private aviation FBOs in Louisville?
Yes. Private aircraft at SDF use Atlantic Aviation on Standiford Avenue, and Bowman Field’s FBO is Louisville Executive Aviation. Each has a page with the street address. We meet in the FBO lobby unless that FBO allows the car planeside.
Which regional airports do you cover?
Clark Regional, French Lick Municipal, Lee Bottom, Madison Regional, Huntingburg Regional, Samuels Field in Bardstown, Capital City Airport in Frankfort, and Signature Aviation at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, each with its own page. If yours is not listed, call and ask.
What vehicle should we book for an airport pickup?
A luxury SUV for up to six with luggage, a stretch limousine for a celebration, or a 14-passenger shuttle or the 30-passenger party bus for a group on the same flight. Send the passenger and bag count and we will recommend one.
Can I book a same-day airport pickup?
Call (502) 835-2838, Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Same-day and next-day trips depend on which chauffeurs and vehicles are free, and we will give you a clear answer on the phone.
