Black car service is a private ride you reserve ahead of time in a black luxury SUV with a professional chauffeur at the wheel. It is not hailed from an app. The vehicle, the pickup time, and the route are confirmed in writing before the day, and the car is yours alone, for one trip or for several hours.
Black car service in Louisville, KY, reserved ahead
Black car service in Louisville, KY means a black luxury SUV, a screened professional chauffeur, and a pickup time confirmed in writing before the day. Veteran Executive Transportation is a veteran-owned company (formerly 2 Vets and a Limo) that dispatches every car from 134 Outer Loop STE 100, Louisville, KY 40214. Our black SUVs carry up to six passengers with room for luggage, and they cover Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana: downtown hotels, the east end, the airport, New Albany, Jeffersonville, and Clarksville. Call (502) 835-2838, Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM, or send the trip through the quote form.
What black car service includes
A black car is a reserved, chauffeur-driven luxury SUV rather than a ride hailed from an app. The vehicle on your confirmation is the vehicle that arrives. The chauffeur has the passenger name, the addresses, and the flight number before the car leaves Outer Loop, and the cabin is quiet, climate-controlled, and tinted for privacy. Wi-Fi is available on board when you need to work between stops.
Most black car trips are one of three shapes. Point-to-point service carries you from one address to the next and ends at the door. Airport service adds flight tracking and help with bags. As-directed hours keep the car and the chauffeur with you between meetings, a dinner, or a round of appointments, so you never wait on a ride to the next stop.
The black SUVs and when to choose something larger

Our black car fleet is luxury SUVs, the black Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon you see in our photos, with seats for up to six and space in the back for suitcases or a set of golf clubs. That is the right car for an executive, a couple, a family, or a small team.
When the group is bigger, the same company sends a larger vehicle: a stretch limousine for a formal arrival, a 14-passenger shuttle for a team or a wedding party, our executive van for a group that wants a van, or the 30-passenger party bus for a celebration. Tell us the headcount and the bag count, and we recommend the vehicle that fits instead of squeezing seven people into a six-seat SUV.
Where Louisville black car clients go
Airport runs are the most common black car trip. At Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) the chauffeur tracks the airline flight and meets you for the bags. Private flyers are met at Atlantic Aviation on Standiford Avenue or at Bowman Field. Our airport transportation page explains each door.
Corporate days stack a hotel pickup on Main or Market, meetings across the Watterson in the east end, a lunch, and the return to SDF, with invoiced billing for company accounts. Evenings out run to a dinner downtown or in NuLu, a show, or an anniversary, with the car waiting at the curb. Event days add Churchill Downs, the KFC Yum! Center, and the Kentucky Exposition Center, where a reserved car and a planned pickup point beat a surge-priced rideshare queue.
Black car service vs Uber Black, rideshare, and taxis
Uber Black also puts you in a dark luxury car, so the vehicle can look similar. The difference is who shows up. With an app, the trip goes to whichever driver accepts it. With us, the chauffeur and the SUV are assigned to your reservation ahead of time, the chauffeur has passed our background check, driving-record review, and drug testing, and they already have your name, the addresses, and any flight number before the car leaves Outer Loop.
An everyday rideshare is built for a quick hop across town. That works for plenty of trips, but the car type, the driver, and the wait all depend on who is free that minute, and a busy night at Churchill Downs or the KFC Yum! Center can leave you in a long pickup line. A black car is booked for a time and a door, and it is there when you walk out.
A taxi is hailed or called for one ride. A black car can do that too, but it can also stay with you. As-directed hours keep the same car and chauffeur between meetings, a dinner, and the trip home, and if the group grows past six we can send a limousine, a shuttle, or the party bus from the same company.
Longer trips: Lexington, Cincinnati, and Nashville
Lexington is one of our regular longer runs. We drive clients from Louisville to meetings in Lexington, to Blue Grass Airport, where we meet private flights at Signature Aviation, and to game days at Kroger Field, about 77 miles, or roughly an hour and 35 minutes each way when traffic is light. The same SUV can bring you back the same day.
Cincinnati and the CVG airport are the other regular trip. Some travelers fly out of CVG for a better schedule, and we track the flight and time the drive up I-71 around it, the same way we plan an SDF departure.
For Nashville or anywhere else farther out, call (502) 835-2838 with the date and the addresses. We will tell you plainly whether we can cover it, and the drive time is built into the written quote.
Screened chauffeurs and a private cabin

Every chauffeur passes a criminal background check, a driving-record review, and drug testing, and completes defensive-driving training. They wear black polos for everyday and airport work and suits for weddings and funerals. They sign a nondisclosure agreement, which matters to executives and public figures who take calls in the back seat.
The company is veteran-owned, and the standard is the one you would expect from that: on time, in uniform, and briefed on the reservation before the car moves. You can read the full screening standard on our safety page.
Black car service across Louisville and Southern Indiana
We pick up anywhere in Louisville and Jefferson County, and across the bridges in New Albany, Jeffersonville, and Clarksville. Longer runs to Lexington, Frankfort, Bardstown, Elizabethtown, and the regional airports are booked the same way, with the drive time built into the quote. Every town we cover has its own page on the Service Areas directory.
How to book a black car
Send the date, the pickup time and address, every stop you know, the drop-off, the passenger and bag counts, and the flight number if the trip touches an airport. We reply with a written quote you can hold. For a car today or tomorrow, call (502) 835-2838 during office hours so we can check which chauffeurs and SUVs are free.
Once you accept the written quote, a non-refundable deposit holds the date. The amount depends on the vehicle and the day, and the balance is due the day of the trip. Cancellations more than 72 hours out receive a credit toward a future booking. Inside 72 hours, the deposit is forfeited.

Frequently Asked Questions
What vehicle is used for black car service in Louisville?
A black luxury SUV with seats for up to six and room for luggage. For a larger group we send a stretch limousine, a 14-passenger shuttle, the executive van, or the 30-passenger party bus instead.
Is black car service different from chauffeur service?
They overlap. Black car service names the vehicle, a reserved black luxury SUV. Chauffeur service names the person, a screened professional driver for point-to-point trips or as-directed hours. Every black car reservation comes with one of our chauffeurs.
Do you offer black car service to and from SDF?
Yes. Send the airline and flight number and we track the arrival, so the pickup moves if the flight does. Private flights are met at Atlantic Aviation at SDF or at Bowman Field.
Is black car service the same as Uber Black?
No. Both use a dark luxury vehicle, but Uber Black goes to whichever driver accepts the request. Our black car is reserved ahead, with a screened chauffeur and a specific SUV assigned to your trip and confirmed in writing.
Can I book a black car from Louisville to Lexington or Cincinnati?
Yes. Lexington and Cincinnati, including Blue Grass Airport and CVG, are regular trips for us. Send the addresses and times and the drive is built into the written quote. For Nashville, call and we will tell you whether we can cover the date.
Can the car wait while I am in a meeting or at dinner?
Yes. Book as-directed hours and the car and chauffeur stay with you between stops. A point-to-point trip ends at the door, and you can add a return as its own line on the quote.
How do I get a black car quote?
Send the date, addresses, stops, passenger count, and any flight number through the quote form, or call (502) 835-2838 Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We send a written quote before anything is held.
