Stretch limousine or executive SUV

A stretch limousine is the formal cabin couples choose for a wedding exit, parents choose for prom and homecoming, and pairs choose for an anniversary dinner.

The fleet page shows classic styling, fiber-optic lighting, and a champagne bar setup in the stretch.

Tell us who is riding and we will recommend a stretch or a luxury SUV when we send the quote.

Seat counts are not listed on this page until they are confirmed for each vehicle.

A luxury SUV is the quieter limousine choice for a client meeting, an airport arrival, or a cabin that should feel private.

It has privacy tint and room for luggage, and it pulls into a hotel porte-cochère without a long footprint.

When the photographs are the point, ask for the stretch and allow a few extra minutes for a gown. When the clock matters most, the SUV is the calmer arrival.

Every limousine comes with a professional chauffeur for the hours on your confirmation. The chauffeur stays focused on the drive. On adult evenings, guests 21 and older may bring a drink in the cabin.

Prom and other student trips are alcohol-free and smoke-free, and the parent or other adult who reserves the night is our client.

Guests remember the small courtesies: the door opened at the curb, the gown given room, and a route already chosen so you can talk or look out at Louisville.

That is what the reservation holds, whether the night is a first dance, a client toast, or a ride home from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF).

Photos of the stretch, inside and out, sit on this page and on the fleet page.

Occasions

People searching for limo rental in Louisville, KY usually already know the occasion. The vehicle and the timeline change with it. Each note below is the limousine part of that day.

Guest shuttles, the party bus, and the executive van are separate services, linked when a group needs them.

  • Weddings.

A wedding limousine follows a timeline you write down: a ready time at the house or hotel, the ceremony, the photo window, and the reception entrance. Chauffeurs wear suits for weddings.

Red carpet service is available when you ask for it on the reservation. Share the gowns and any second pickup so the chauffeur is at the right door.

  • Southern Indiana weddings.

A reception in New Albany, Jeffersonville, or Clarksville includes the bridge in the hours, so the crossing is unhurried.

The couple can keep the limousine for portraits and the entrance while guests ride a shuttle on its own schedule.

  • Prom and homecoming.

A parent or another adult books the night. Student trips are alcohol-free and smoke-free.

Send a parent phone that will be answered, the meetup, the school or dinner address, and the time the night ends so the drop-off is coordinated. Homecoming uses the same rules.

  • Anniversaries and nights out.

An anniversary or a night out can be two or three named stops, such as dinner in NuLu and a downtown venue, with a last address on the reservation.

Adult guests may bring their own toast. The evening is reserved, not open-ended.

  • Corporate evenings.

A corporate evening is often the luxury SUV: an executive moving between hotels on Main or Market, a client dinner, or a quiet ride to a meeting.

Ask for the stretch when the night should feel like a celebration, or the SUV when the conversation should stay close.

  • Airport arrivals.

A limousine can meet a commercial flight at SDF or a private arrival at Bowman Field or the FBO you name. Send the flight number and the pickup moves if the flight moves.

The airport page describes the terminal and FBO meetups.

  • Derby week.

Derby week fills the calendar before a weekday morning does. A limousine for Oaks, Derby Day, or a downtown dinner is quoted from the date, the hours, and the addresses you send.

The Derby page covers the event itself.

  • Funerals.

Funeral transportation is a limousine or an SUV only, with a chauffeur in a suit. The car follows the funeral director’s schedule from the home or funeral home through the service and the committal.

The funeral home arranges the procession. We do not provide a hearse.

Limo service or limo rental: what is the difference

Limo service in Louisville, KY and limo rental in Louisville, KY are the same reservation here. Searchers use both phrases. Veteran Executive Transportation is a chauffeured company. Every limousine rental includes a professional chauffeur.

We do not hand you the keys.

Your confirmation names the vehicle and the schedule before you dress. The chauffeur is part of that confirmation and does not drink.

If you wanted a car to drive yourself, this is the wrong company.

If you wanted someone else to handle the Watterson, the downtown hotels, and the last door of the night, this is the reservation.

A larger celebration that wants music and lighting belongs on the party bus page, not in this cabin. A guest list that needs a timetable belongs on the shuttle page.

An executive van is its own service. This page is the chauffeured stretch and the chauffeured SUV.

How limousine time is reserved

A Louisville limousine is quoted for your date, the hours you need, the route, and the vehicle. Derby week, prom weekends, and peak Saturday evenings are requested first.

A weekday morning SUV has a quieter calendar. The office is open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

You can send the quote form at any time, and we reply during those hours.

Every trip is quoted to the itinerary. Photos that run long and a table seated late are easier when the hours already include them. The reservation covers the agreed pickup through the agreed drop-off.

When you also want the car to wait at the reception, that wait is written on the reservation with the rest of the evening.

Waiting and overtime are confirmed on the quote, not as a published rule on this page.

A non-refundable deposit holds the date after you accept the quote. The amount depends on the vehicle and the service, and the balance is due the day of the trip.

Cancellations more than 72 hours before the event receive a credit toward a future booking. Cancellations inside 72 hours forfeit the deposit.

Gratuity can be arranged in the reservation when a host does not want guests handling cash.

Nothing on this page is a published fare. Tell us the date, the hours, the route, and the vehicle you have in mind, and we send a written quote you can accept or decline.

The date is not held until you accept it.

What to send for a quote

The note that gets a useful limousine quote is short. Send the date, the pickup address, the drop-off address, the timing, the group size, and the occasion.

Add a flight number for an airport connection. For a wedding, list the ceremony and the reception separately, and add the photo stop if it is a third place.

For prom or homecoming, include a parent phone that will be answered, the school or dinner address, and the time the night ends.

For a funeral, name the funeral home and say whether the family needs a limousine, an SUV, or both.

If a hotel desk needs the chauffeur’s name, tell us the day before and we will pass it along.

If the group may outgrow the SUV, say so while the quote is still easy to change and we will recommend a stretch instead. The fleet page shows the vehicles.

Your confirmation is the one reserved for you. Veteran Executive Transportation is the company on the quote, based at 134 Outer Loop STE 100 in Louisville.

Pickup areas

We pick up at the Louisville address you send. That includes downtown hotels, Main Street and Market Street, NuLu, and homes across Jefferson County. Downtown sits north of the Watterson.

SDF sits at I-65 and I-264. From our Outer Loop base, a Jefferson County address is a local pickup. Share the street and the entrance you prefer.

Southern Indiana pickups include New Albany, Jeffersonville, and Clarksville, in Floyd County and Clark County.

A reception across the river, with a hotel downtown, is a round trip when both directions are in the hours. We do not publish passenger counts in this section.

Tell us the group size on the quote and we will recommend the vehicle.

This page does not add a new town. If the first or last address is somewhere else in the region, send it and we will say whether the day is one we can drive.

The quote follows the itinerary, not a list of neighborhoods we have not named here.
