Four Roses Distillery Transportation: Lawrenceburg & Coxs Creek

Chauffeured rides to Four Roses in Lawrenceburg or its Coxs Creek bottling site from Louisville and SDF. Reserve the right tour; we drive to the right address.

Two addresses, two different days

Four Roses welcomes visitors at two places that are nowhere near each other. The distillery is at 1224 Bonds Mill Road in Lawrenceburg, on the Frankfort side of the state, about 75 minutes from downtown Louisville. The warehouse and bottling site is at 624 Lotus Road in Coxs Creek, between Louisville and Bardstown, about 45 minutes from downtown and about 10 minutes from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. Four Roses offers distillery tours at one and bottling tours at the other. This page exists to make sure you reserve the experience you want, and that we drive to the address on your confirmation.

Check which address is on your reservation

The two sites belong to different days. Lawrenceburg pairs with Wild Turkey and the Frankfort and Versailles distilleries. Coxs Creek pairs with Clermont and Bardstown. Booking the wrong one can mean an hour of driving in the wrong direction, so put the exact address on your quote request and we will route to it.

The Lawrenceburg distillery

From downtown Louisville, the Lawrenceburg distillery is about 75 minutes, roughly 59 miles. From SDF, about 80 minutes. From downtown Jeffersonville, about 75 minutes. Private flyers at Signature Aviation in Lexington are about 35 minutes away.

Four Roses' tour page mentions an outdoor patio. We have not confirmed food here, so plan lunch elsewhere, such as the cafe at Buffalo Trace or a restaurant from Woodford's area list. Wild Turkey is about 15 minutes away, and the two make an easy Lawrenceburg afternoon.

The Coxs Creek warehouse and bottling site

The Coxs Creek site is about 45 minutes from downtown Louisville and about 10 minutes from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, so the two fit a compact half day with lunch at The Kitchen Table. Heaven Hill in Bardstown is about 25 minutes away if you want a third stop. Four Roses describes its bottling tours on a separate page, and that page is the place to check what is offered on your date.

Pickups

We pick up at Louisville hotels and homes, Southern Indiana addresses, and SDF with flight tracking. For Lawrenceburg, Lexington hotel pickups are an option too.

Pairings by address

Lawrenceburg: Wild Turkey, about 15 minutes. Coxs Creek: James B. Beam, about 10 minutes. The Lawrenceburg variant of our Frankfort and Versailles loop includes the distillery, and the south variant of our Southern Indiana day includes Coxs Creek.

Two sample days, one for each address

Lawrenceburg day from Louisville: about 75 minutes to the distillery on Bonds Mill Road for a late-morning tour, lunch at a restaurant from Woodford's area list or the cafe at Buffalo Trace, then about 15 minutes to Wild Turkey for the afternoon, and about 75 minutes home. Plan on roughly two hours and 45 minutes of driving, plus the lunch detour.

Coxs Creek day from Louisville: about 40 minutes to Clermont for a tour and lunch at The Kitchen Table, about 10 minutes to the Coxs Creek site, and about 45 minutes home. That is roughly an hour and 35 minutes of driving, short enough for a half day or for guests coming from Southern Indiana.

Whichever address you reserve, paste it into the quote request. Our chauffeurs route by the address on your confirmation, not by the name on the bottle.

Reserve your tour directly

Choosing a vehicle

A Coxs Creek half day is short enough for any vehicle. The Lawrenceburg trip is a longer ride, and groups larger than a family usually prefer a shuttle for it. See our fleet page for vehicle sizes. Every chauffeur is background-checked and trained; our safety standards are on the safety page.
