Small tours, one group
Rabbit Hole Distillery is at 711 East Jefferson Street in NuLu, and its visit page describes intimate tours with a cap on group size, plus tastings in its Overlook lounge. That is good news for the experience and a puzzle for a bigger party. This page is about solving it: reserve more than one tour time if you need to, let one chauffeured vehicle hold the group together between them, and finish the evening at dinner a few blocks away in NuLu.
Splitting a larger party across tour times
Rabbit Hole sets its own group limits, and they are listed on its site. If your party is larger than one tour allows, reserve back-to-back slots and send us both times. The first half of the group tours while the second half waits nearby or heads to the Overlook, then the halves trade places. When everyone is done, the whole group boards together.
This is where a single vehicle beats a string of rideshares. Nobody has to coordinate two sets of cars, bottle purchases stay in one place, and the group arrives at dinner at the same time.
Getting to NuLu
Downtown hotels are about five minutes away, roughly two miles by road. From SDF, plan on about 20 minutes. From downtown Jeffersonville, the trip is about 10 minutes across the river.
Pickups
Hotel pickups downtown and in the East End are routine, and so are homes across Louisville and Southern Indiana. For an arrival day, send your flight number and we will track it. Company groups in town for meetings often book a Rabbit Hole tour as the close of a work day, and our corporate page covers billing and multi-stop schedules for that kind of trip.
Planning the evening
Rabbit Hole's site names the Overlook bar and an experience called Bourbon & Boards. We have not confirmed what is served, so read the distillery's page before you count on it as a meal. For dinner, NuLu is walkable from the distillery, or we can drive the group to a restaurant you choose. Add it to your quote.
Bring a valid photo ID. If you are touring in two halves, give each half a meeting point and a time, and share the chauffeur's number with whoever is organizing.
Pairing with Angel's Envy or Old Forester
Angel's Envy is about 0.3 miles away, roughly a 10-minute walk, and makes an easy second stop. Old Forester on West Main is about a five-minute drive. Both fit our Whiskey Row walk-and-ride evening, which ends in this part of town.
A sample NuLu evening
A typical Rabbit Hole evening starts with a hotel pickup and the five-minute drive east to 711 East Jefferson Street. If your party is split across two tour times, the first group goes in while the second relaxes nearby, then the groups trade places. Afterward, some parties walk about ten minutes to Angel's Envy for a second tasting; others go straight to dinner in NuLu.
Your chauffeur keeps track of both tour times and the dinner reservation, so the handoffs happen without a string of phone calls. When dinner is over, the last leg is the ride back to the hotel or across the river to Southern Indiana, about ten minutes, so nobody in the group has to think about driving after an evening of tastings.
What to send us
List every tour time you reserved and roughly how the group is split between them, plus the dinner reservation and each pickup address. For a company group, tell us whether everyone returns to one hotel or scatters at the end, since that changes the last leg of the night.
Reserve your tour directly
Reserve your tour and tasting directly with Rabbit Hole on its website. Send us your times, and your chauffeur handles the driving and the timing between stops. If your group is large, check Rabbit Hole's group rules before you reserve.
Choosing a vehicle
A small group fits a luxury SUV. A team that needs to move together between two tour times and dinner is better on a shuttle, which is its own service with room for everyone on one schedule. See our fleet page for vehicle sizes. Every chauffeur is background-checked and trained; our safety standards are on the safety page.
